FOCUS
Intro to structured training, water awareness and control, introduction to USA swimming competitions, while experienceing the joy of personal growth within a team setting.


REQUIREMENTS

✓ Recommended: Graduate from Level 3 Swim Lessons or Super Seal with the Rec Center


✓ Ability to Swim: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke -multiple lengths
✓ Purchase Swim Suit and Googles
✓ Positive team-oriented attitude
Commit to Learning a new sport

 
🥈 SILVER
(3–5 times per week)


FOCUS
Intermediate-level training that develops stroke mechanics, improves kicking efficiency, and builds pacing skills and aerobic conditioning. Swimmers increasingly focus on racing performance and structured meet preparation.


REQUIREMENTS:

✓ Basic understanding of technique and fundamentals
Ability to Read and Understand Pace Clock
✓ Ability to do flip turn, open turn and Breaststroke Pull-out

   
🥇 GOLD
(3–5 times per week)


FOCUS
High-level training commitment emphasizing racing strategies, stroke efficiency under fatigue, and preparation for championship-level performance such as Alaska State Championships.


REQUIREMENTS

✓ Strong understanding of technique and fundamentals of all four strokes
Demonstrates ability to consistently hold pace in all four strokes while calculating and leading lane send-offs
✓ Shows readiness for increased training load

 
PLATINUM
(4–5x/week)

FOCUS
Sectionals & State placement, higher-volume and intensity of training, technical refinement.
