Swimmers’ Practice Responsibilities

  • Respect coaches at all times and use proper communication channels.
  • Follow training rules and remain focused during practice.
  • Take swimming commitment seriously at every level.
  • Support teammates, coaches, and the club through attendance and encouragement.
  • Meet required training sessions and strive for recommended attendance.
  • Train and race with full effort.

Practice Policies

  • Each training group has attendance expectations based on developmental goals. Consistency leads to the greatest success.
  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes early and be picked up immediately after practice. Coaches are not responsible for supervision outside practice hours.
  • Full attendance is expected unless prior approval is given for early dismissal. All equipment must be ready before practice begins.
  • Swimmers must notify coaches if leaving the pool deck during practice.

Practice Code of Conduct

  • Be positive and supportive toward teammates.
  • Follow coaching instructions immediately.
  • No abusive language, lying, stealing, or vandalism.
  • Leave early only with permission.
  • Pool deck is for swimmers and coaches only.
  • Parents should not interrupt practice unless emergency.
  • Follow all facility rules at all times.
  • No unauthorized individuals on deck.

Swimmer Bill of Rights

  • Be treated with respect and free from abuse.
  • Train in a safe environment.
  • Receive supportive and constructive coaching.
  • Be encouraged and recognized for effort.
  • Set and adjust goals with a coach.
  • Experience challenging and rewarding training.

Code of Conduct Agreement

All members agree to follow USA Swimming and club rules. Disrespect, harassment, bullying, theft, vandalism, or abusive behavior will result in disciplinary action or removal from the team.
